Registration is now open for the 2017 Disability Rights North Carolina’s annual Disability Advocacy Conference.
This conference is a great opportunity to learn about disability advocacy!
There are sessions about navigating the education system, children with disabilities and the child welfare system, information about law related to disabilities, sessions about the ADA and law enforcement, employment, ethics, appeals & much more.
Registration is open now and will close on April 18th. The cost is $125 and includes continental breakfast, lunch buffet, afternoon snack and a manual and/or flash drive with a complete set of materials for all breakout sessions. There are even scholarships to help pay for the cost of attendance (application required by March 18th).
